Alchem has been involved in electrical contracting in the Chemical/Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical sectors for the past 30 years. During this time, we have gained an extensive knowledge in the field of Electrical installations in potentially explosive atmospheres.

A service we can offer, which we run independently from our contracting section, is a full hazardous area design, testing and inspection service.

We have an inspection team available, consisting of personnel who have been trained to the latest ‘Compex’ standards, who can be utilized to carry out hazardous area inspections of new and existing installations.

Through customer feedback, we have found that this service is particularly useful, in providing an independent and unbiased verification of the suitability of an electrical installation.
